Reservations & Deposit Payments
Bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. A deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required to confirm dates and secure a reservation.
Payment of a deposit is taken as your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Payments can be made by Visa or MasterCard credit cards.
Payment of Balances
The balance of the amount due for a booking is due four weeks before your arrival date. Once paid, a final booking confirmation is issued. This final booking confirmation details the address of the beach house, directions to the property from Cairns International Airport, and instructions of how to gain entry to your holiday house upon your arrival. When paid, the balance is non refundable. We recommend that you buy a quality travel insurance product that will cover any loss incurred should you cancel your booking.
A $50.00 administration fee is charged for all cancellations that are made prior to six weeks of the arrival date. Deposits are only refunded when a cancellation is made prior to six weeks of the arrival date. A $50.00 administration fee is deducted from the deposit about refunded. Deposits are not refunded when a cancellation is made within six weeks of the arrival date. The balance of the amount due for a booking is due four weeks before your arrival date. When the balance for your holiday has been paid, it is non refundable. We recommend that you buy a quality travel insurance product that will cover any loss incurred should you cancel your booking.
Check In / Check Out
Properties are available from 2:00pm and are to be vacated by 10:00am.
As part of our quality service, all beach houses are thoroughly cleaned and tidied ready for your arrival in Palm Cove.In return, we ask that you respect our properties and leave them in a suitably clean and tidy condition.
Please clean the BBQ after each use. We provide BBQ cleaner / pads and scrubs under the kitchen sink.
If you prefer our cleaner does this for you, there is a charge of $50.00. This will be charged to your credit card within 7 days of your departure.
Please remove all rubbish (newspapers, magazines, cartons) from the property before check out. Place in the outside dustbins provided. The local council will collect the dustbins on Tuesdays.
If you prefer our cleaner does this for you, there is a charge of $20.00. This will be charged to your credit card within 7 days of your departure.
Please wash all used and dirty dishes, pots and pans and put them away into the kitchen storage cupboards.
If you prefer our cleaner does this for you, there is a charge of $35.00. This will be charged to your credit card within 7 days of your departure.
Please sweep and/or vacuum all floors before leaving the property.
Place all used towels and pool towels in to the bath tub before you leave the property.
Place all used bed linen in the bathroom before you leave the property. Please leave the mattress protectors and blankets on the beds.
Damages / Breakage
Notification of any breakages, loss, damages or maintenance must be reported to the Owner/Administrator immediately. Any associated costs are required to be paid on demand to the Owner/Administrator. The Owner/Administrator will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery/appliance breakdown. The Owner/Administrator will best endeavour to repair, replace or hire an alternative.
Keys and Remotes
Please ensure that the correct number of keys/remotes are returned to the property on departure. A charge of up to $250.00 will be charged to your credit card within 7 days of your departure if locks, keys or remotes are to be replaced.
In order to preserve our fragile environment, will you kindly turn off all lights and air conditioning units every time you leave the property.
A minimum stay of 3 nights is required
The Owner/Administrator takes no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal belongings. We recommend that you buy a quality travel insurance product that will cover any such loss incurred.
Total Number of Guests
The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the final confirmation or subsequently agreed in writing. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the Owner/Administrator in advance.Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.
Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use of the property contrary to this will result in additional charges. Disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.
